Summary for Lost and Found Chapter 2

In this chapter of the book Darcy Wills finds herself in trouble. Whenever she needs someone to talk to about school, friends and boys her mother would probably be at work working late hours or probably be in bed exhausted. Jamee her younger sister comes home late from school and gets drop off my a red Nissan almost everyday. Come to find out that Jamee have been hanging out with Blurford high students at Darcy's school. Bobby Wallace is the one guy in particular Jamee would do anything for. Darcy overheard Bobby talking to his friends about this one girl that stole a CD for him & that she would do anything for him if he ask her to. They also mentioned that she looks eighteen but is only fourteen in middle school. Him & his friends laughed in amused of how dumb the girl is. Darcy knew they were talking about her sister because Jamee was the only odd ball that hangs out with them from middle school. When Darcy went to confront her sister about stealing the CD Jamee was in denial about it. Then when Darcy told her about the fact that she overhead Bobby talking about her and Exaggerated a little bit just to help her sister understand he's bad news. She wouldn't believe it because she thinks that he loves her and favor her from all the others girls he came in contact with. He's just a player he gets what he want then just leave you and go to another female. My Personal reactions towards this selection is that I really like how this story keeps its theme and perspective throughout both chapters one and two. I believe the author's intent for this story is to share a personal story about how life can hits its broken period at times. Also, the pattern I observed while reading this selection is Order of Importance because the another describes the most important events first then tells us the climate towards the end of the story.

Lost & Found

Lost & Found by: Anne Schraff

Darcy Wills is a sophomore at Blurford High School. She struggles to fit in because she's smart, not popular, or even shapely like other girls at her school. Darcy is very slender and very shy. She doesn't have much friends except for this one girl by the name of Brisanna Meeks. Darcy has a younger sister  named Jamee Wills. She is the completely opposite of Darcy. Jamee has a group of rowdy friends and is almost flunking her classes. Things have changed since her grandmother had a stroke and their Dad walking out of their lives. Before Jamee was so close to her father. He spoil her rotten. They would go places and he would buy her everything she would want, she even had good grades back then. Before their Grandmother had a stroke Darcy would always come to her to vent her problems or diffulties she may have face. She couldn't go to her mom because her mother had been working as a emergency ER Nurse with two shifts in one day. So everyday she would come home and be totally exhausted. Her mother needed the extra cash to help support a family of three and grandma's medical care.
My Personal reaction to this selection is that I thought is was a pretty good story so far. I think it's going to be filled with surprising plot/conflicts that will eventually have solution to it. I believe the author's intent is to share a personal experience about how life can hit its breaking point and eventually get better. The pattern of organization I observed would be Order Of Importance because the author explained the most important parts and will describe the surprising climax towards the end of the story.
